At the top of Levi the start line sits on flat ground, but the calm lasts only seconds. Levi Open Rush begins with a mass sprint where competitors run the first meters before dropping their skis or boards onto the snow and launching downhill together. The course refuses to be a simple glide: flatter sections and short climbs force racers to keep working instead of coasting.
The route runs from the summit toward the village over roughly six kilometers and about three hundred meters of vertical. In a mass start like this, position shifts constantly as riders and skiers fight for space and speed. Levi Open Rush draws those who enjoy the moment when momentum, terrain and instinct all have to be managed at once.
